RETURN OF SUBMISSION
Due to the large number of entries received submission materials and videos will not be returned.
FORMATS
A completed entry form and an entry fee must accompany each film or video. Entries must be submitted on 1/2" (standard VHS in NTSC format) videocassette or NTSC DVD. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English or Spanish. In addition to your entry, please enclose any press kits, reviews, or publicity materials. If possible, send a menu-less DVD for screening.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office three weeks before the festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening or presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.
AWARDS
Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, THE Green Film Festival does give accolades for films voted “Best of” in various categories.
You can also enter your film to the Costa Rica International Film Festival, held November 5 - 8, 2009 in Manuel Antonio and November 12 - 15, 2009 in Montezuma.
